Building together.
We understand your business and its challenges and build the right solutions for you. Our insights are actionable and we provide measurable results.

PPACA regulation knowledge and insight to change. Since serious discussions around health care reform began to take place in early 2009, Piper Jordan has been engaged with policymakers lobbying on behalf of our employers.  As the bill language evolved, we took part in discussions with those individuals influencing the bill passage, relative to the impact on our clients and prospects. Post-enactment of PPACA, the United States Department of Labor (“DOL”) invited Piper Jordan to provide analysis on our restaurant and retail clients. We followed our analysis with a white paper to the DOL on the variable hour employee market. Our work was integral in developing the annual limit waiver now in place for expense-incurred limited-benefit health plans.

Market-leading plan design, workforce and staffing strategies. National firms must be keenly aware of PPACA regulations and prepared to make difficult decisions as it relates to eligibility, plan design and contribution strategies.  Although Piper Jordan has a vision of how our clients should execute year-after-year, we realize that our vision must be modified due to our clients’ competing projects, budgets, and tolerance to change.  However, we make it our job to guide our clients through 2015 and beyond and protect their defined interests.

Compliance. Compliance is at the forefront of our service model.  We are a national services firm and our clients are impacted at the local, state and federal level.  We are deeply engaged with all aspects of compliance including PPACA, state and local healthcare initiatives, ERISA and 5500 services, HIPAA, COBRA, plan documentation and discrimination testing.  It is our thorough understanding of these regulations and our attention to detail that has developed our reputation as a true expert and compliance partner to our clients.
